LUXE PPF Installation Instructions

Ready to protect your vehicle with LUXE PPF? Follow these step-by-step instructions for a smooth and successful installation.

What You’ll Need:
  • LUXE PPF Protection Film Kit
  • Squeegee or soft applicator
  • Spray bottle with soapy water solution
  • Spray bottle with clean water
  • Microfiber towels
  • Utility knife or film trimmer
  • Heat gun (optional, for edges and curves)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Prepare Your Vehicle
  • Wash your car thoroughly to remove dirt, debris, and wax.
  • Dry the surface completely with a clean microfiber towel.
  • Ensure you’re working in a dust-free, shaded area.
2. Prep the Surface
  • Spray the area generously with a soapy water solution to help with film positioning.
3. Position the Film
  • Peel the backing off the LUXE PPF film.
  • Lightly spray the adhesive side of the film with the soapy water solution.
  • Place the film onto the prepared surface, sliding it into final position.
4. Smooth and Secure
  • Use a squeegee or soft applicator to gently press the film onto the surface.
  • Start from the center and work outward to push out air bubbles and excess water.
  • For edges and curves, use a heat gun on low setting to help the film conform.
5. Trim Excess Film
  • Carefully trim any extra film around the edges with a utility knife or film trimmer.
6. Final Touches
  • Wipe down the film with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
  • Inspect your work for remaining bubbles and gently press them out with your squeegee.
  • Allow the film to set and cure for at least 24 hours before washing or exposing to harsh elements.
Tips for Best Results:
  • Avoid applying film in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.
  • Take your time—precision makes perfect!
  • If you are unsure or want a flawless result, consider having your LUXE PPF professionally installed.
